In the Beginning
Why I Started Optophobia Creations & What It Means to Me
Have you ever stopped to truly see the world around you? Not just with your eyes, but with emotion and perspective? That’s what Optophobia Creations is all about. Photography is more than just capturing an image—it’s about preserving a feeling, a moment, a story that words can’t always express. When I started Optophobia Creations, I knew I wanted my work to be more than just pictures; I wanted it to be timeless, imaginative, expressive, and mysterious—all while telling a story and a reflection of how I see the world through my lens.
The Meaning Behind Optophobia Creations
The name Optophobia Creations might sound unusual at first. If you’ve never heard of "optophobia," it means the fear of opening one’s eyes. To me, it represents the way photography challenges us to see beyond the ordinary—not just with our eyes but with emotion and perspective before the moments disappear. So many moments in life pass us by because we don’t pause to take them in. My photography is about capturing those moments and turning them into something lasting.
My Journey into Photography
Like many photographers, my journey started with a simple love for capturing the world around me. Whether it was landscapes, portraits, or intimate boudoir shoots, I found that photography allowed me to tell stories in ways that words couldn’t. Over time, I honed my skills, experimented, and discovered my passion for both natural and studio lighting—each offering a unique way to shape the mood of an image.
But photography isn’t just about technique—it’s about connection. Whether it’s the quiet solitude of a breathtaking landscape or the raw confidence of a boudoir session, I strive to make every image evoke something personal for the viewer.
